　　清末民初，境内庙宇很多，其寺院较大者有38处。明洪武十五年设僧会司，清康熙间僧会司在宁国寺。当时僧侣较多者有小东关宁国寺、北关宁仪寺、杨家营崇兴寺、管村国兴寺、东方龙兴寺。香火庙会四季不断。民国以来，庙宇渐废，信者日少。30年代，破除迷信，寺院存者无几，求神拜佛者已罕见。
