　　1978年始，桃园公社社办工业组织45人，建矿开采钾长石，人力采掘，手工筛选，年产量500～900吨。至1987年底，共采掘钾长石0.9万吨，年均产值1.5万元，利润0.3万元。矿石原料全部运销南京市。
