　　1979年5月，皇华公社组织50人首次采掘沸石矿，年采量为2.8万吨。1980年7月，朱解公社南朱解大队相继组织95人开采，年产量达10万吨。1984年起，沸石矿改辖于朱家村乡。至1987年，沸石矿拥有职工156人，固定资产原值42.8万元，年均开采沸石13.65万吨，产值100万元，利润25万元。产品主要用于本市建材工业、饲料加工业，部分产品销往高密、五莲和江苏省赣榆等县。
