　　青州市土壤共分四个土类，十个亚类，十五个属，五十七个土种。以褐土为主，潮土次之，棕壤与砂姜黑土也有分布。土壤分布具有明显的垂直地带性，大致是：海拔20—50米，主要为湿潮土、砂姜黑土和褐土化潮土；50—100米主要为潮褐土；100—350米为褐土、淋溶褐土；350—750米为褐土性褐土；750—950米出现棕壤性土、棕壤。由于地貌、母质、母岩类型较复杂，主要土类的基层单元分布亦较复杂。
