　　1987年3月5日，中共青州市委、市政府作出决定：年内开通市、乡（镇）两级传真通信，总投资75万元。随后组织人员进行了大量的调查研究和可行性论证。5月17日，从上海购进SYFA—X402型三类高速文字传真机及配套设备，7月15日至21日，传真设备安装完毕，7月22日试通成功。
