　　照明供电　1923年始，县城仅限军政机构和部份绅商用电照明。至1946年6月县城首次解放后，停止供电。
　　1956年沿第十变电站至棉油加工厂输电线路的城区少数住户始用电网电照明。后用电户逐年增多。1960年650户，1978年11000户，至1985年户户用电照明。
　　暖气　1980年5月，县政府招待所首先安装水暖暖气。1981年，再生胶厂始安装气暖。至1982年，县城有8个单位先后安装暖气。1985年增至29个单位。管道总长50178米。除5个单位将暖气用于生产外，生活用受热面积48734平方米。
