　　新中国建立前，各私营中药店均收购地产药材，除在本地销售外，部分品种运销外地。1950年始，各私营中药店、县社药材经理部，均根据销售情况收购地产药材。1957年始由国营药材公司统一收购。家种品种计划生产、计划收购；野生品种按上级分配任务和县内销售计划收购。本县所产淮香附、密柴胡驰名全国，为重点收购品种。
