　　高密县各基层供销社建立后，即设土产杂品采购站，收购废旧物品。自1952年始，年收购额14至30万元。1958年，在“大跃进”中，锅铁年收购额高达156.6万元。1977年始，城乡工农业生产有所发展，特别是工厂机器更新，年收购额为69.4万元。1979年增至84.5万元。1984年90.9万元。1985年147.5万元。
