　　都泺干涸后，今河崖乡境地势低洼，逢雨积水，田舍屡遭水患。1868年，知县周麟章倡众开挖渲泄沟。此沟自东前岭至刘家口子，转入北胶莱河。从此，河崖洼水患有减，故民称此河为周官河。
