　　1918年，山东督军张树元，设师部于潍县城，其三营进驻昌邑城，营部设在维新池。一连驻柳疃镇，其他连队分驻县城周围村庄，经常索粮要款，为时2年余，随师部调回济南。
　　1928年，张宗昌之残部，王子修、方永昌、刘志陆、黄凤岐、刘珍年部先后驻过昌邑县城，经常下乡骚扰民众，历时年余撤离。
