　　盐区是暖温带半湿润季风区大陆性气候。年内3—10月份日照时数，月均200小时以上。春季多风，年平均蒸发量为1858.5毫米，4—6月份蒸发量最大，占全年的48％。
　　昌邑盐区，气温偏高，日照时数多，风速高，蒸发量大，而降雨量却小，宜于晒制海盐。每年4—6月份，是全年晒盐的“黄金”季节。
