　　1680年（清康熙十九年），寿乐营分设参将1员驻昌乐。1700年（清康熙三十九年），寿乐营改称守备营，隶属青州营。1731年（清雍正九年），改称都司营，设一分队驻防昌乐，把总1员，马兵18名，步兵55名。1809年（清嘉庆十四年），都司营驻昌乐分队有马兵21名，守兵51名，设演武场1处。库存火药963斤，鸟枪35杆，弓箭37副。并在丹河堡（城西）、五里堡（城东）、大桥堡（城东）各设墩台1处，驻马兵各5名。
