　　昌乐县居民历史上以农桑为本，其俗俭约，其风质直。胶济铁路通车后，北部交通发达，经商者渐多，居民视野始阔，善交际，性含蓄；南部古风尚浓，居民爽直、淳朴，待人热情诚挚，部分山区农民老实、憨厚，性格倔强。解放后，南北经济文化交流频繁，习俗渐趋一致。
