　　集市贸易是传统的商品交易的主要形式。建国前，潍城每天都有做交易的场所，谓之市；乡间隔几日做一次交易的场所。谓之集，一般多为5天一集；山会出于祭山、祭神等迷信活动，附之以交易，民国年间，逐渐演变成纯交易场所。
