　　1983年5月，县航运公司成立，当年货运量为2.36万吨.周转量427万吨公里，主要运输货物为煤、盐、沙石、化肥、粮食等。1985年区航运公司货运量7.6万吨，周转量1505万吨公里。1988年，货运量11.4万吨，周转量2594万吨／公里。成立潍坊市北港港务局后，航运公司交北港港务局管理。
