　　盐区地下埋藏着9—17波美度的卤水，含盐量一般在100—150克／升，最高达190克／升，是海水含盐量的5—6倍。盐卤分三层垂向分布在80米深度的粉砂层中，由南向北，厚度和浓度增加，分布面广，埋藏浅。储量多，浓度高，宜于开发利用，发展盐业有广阔前景。
