　　建国前，排灌机具以称杆、水斗子为主，马拉水车较少。建国初期。主要推广手摇水车。1956年，全县有排灌机械10台，153马力，到60年代，增加10倍以上。1978年，全县拥有排灌机械8131台，92502马力。新添喷灌机械6套。此后，排灌机械发展很快，到1988年，全区拥有14574台，8.21万马力。每百亩耕地拥有18.2马力，其中农户所有13961台，7.51万马力。另有喷灌机械2132台。
