　　1950年3月，中国人民银行潍坊中心支行成立保险代办处。1951年1月改称中国人民保险公司潍坊支公司。1952年8月，改为潍坊中心支公司，兼办潍坊市驻地业务。1956年设立潍坊市支公司。1958年上半年市支公司撤销，业务、人员并入市财政局，局内设保险科。1980年10月重新组建中国人民保险公司潍坊地区中心支公司。1984年随机构改革改称潍坊市中心支公司，又改为潍坊市分公司，潍城区业务由市公司营业部办理。
