    诸城市位于山东省东南部，泰沂山脉与胶潍平原交界处，地理座标为北纬35
°42′23″，至36°21′05″，东经119°0′19″至119°43′56″。东与胶州、
胶南毗连，南与五莲接壤，西与莒县、沂水为邻，北与安丘、高密交界。东西最
大横距66.5公里，南北最大纵距72公里，市境呈彩蝶形，总面积2182.7平方公里。
1987年，全市辖13镇，22乡，1340村，总人口990970人，有汉、满、回、藏、壮、
瑶、朝鲜、蒙古、锡伯等9个民族，汉族占总人口的99.99％。
