    寒亭区姓氏虽多，但因明初迁来潍地居住的各姓氏驻地较集中，后各族虽经多年繁衍，不断分支，但大都围绕在原迁地附近。如于姓大都集中在东庄乡、朱里镇、寒亭镇、双杨店等乡镇。王姓大都集中在里疃乡、双杨店镇、南孙乡、寒亭镇等乡镇。李姓集中居住在南孙乡、双杨店镇、里疃、高里镇。刘姓集中居住在朱里镇、高里镇、东庄乡。张姓集中居住在高里镇、里疃乡、双杨店镇。稀有姓氏人口多居住在寒亭区各机关企事业单位。
