　　寒亭区位于山东省中部偏东，北濒渤海莱州湾，南与坊子区、潍城区接壤，东界昌邑县，西抵寿光县。地跨北纬36°42′至37°10′，东经118°58′至119°25′，区人民政府驻地西离省会济南220公里。区境南北最长51.3公里，东西最长42公里，面积810平方公里。
