    坊子历史久远，五千年前就有人类在这里居住、栖息。境内迄今已发现龙山
文化、大汶口文化等文化遗址28处。因建区前无专设文物管理部门，故收藏文物
较少。
    坊子为新兴城市，有待于文物名胜管理、保护、开发的加强，在普查、整修、
保护、管理的基础上，逐步走向正规。
