    1982年6月23日，中共招远县委设立统战部。1984年3月，内设办公室、一科、二科，编制7人。2002年，统战部内设办公室、综合科、对台工作科，人员编制8人。
    1989年7月，中共招远县委对台工作办公室成立，为正科级事业单位，与统战部合署办公，设主任1人，副主任1人。1993年11月，机构撤销，对台工作归属市委统战部。1994年8月，市对台工作办公室恢复。2001年12月，对台办公室归属统战部，内设对台工作科。
