    1985年4月，芦洋村投资1200万元筹建啤酒厂。1986年6月一期工程竣工投
产， 生产"芦洋"牌啤酒、 "八仙"牌啤酒和"仙岛"牌啤酒，年生产能力1万吨。
1987 年年底二期工程竣工，年生产能力达到2万吨。1991年，全厂有职工320
人，固定资产1 800万元，年末流动资金200万元，生产啤酒3000吨，产值500
万元，利税40万元。
