    蓬莱县位于山东半岛最北端，地处东经120°35′121°09′、北纬37°25
′37°50′。西临龙口市，南接栖霞县，东与福山区接壤，北濒渤、黄二海，
与长岛县隔海相望。
    县城位于境内北端海滨，平面直线东距烟台市65公里，南距青岛市200公
里，西南距济南市360公里，北距大连市140公里；距首都北京市450公里。
