    建国后，外事管理工作由公安局政保股(科)负责。1985年成立外事科，专
司外事管理工作。公安局的外事管理主要负责对来蓬莱的外国人、外籍华人、
华侨、港澳同胞的验证、证件延期加签工作及户口管理、旅行管理工作；受
理因私出境人员的申请并上报审批、转发证件。
