　　1957年，成立蓬莱县节制生育工作委员会。1964年，成立蓬莱县计
划生育委员会，下设办公室，与卫生局合署办公。1971年11月，成立
蓬莱县革命委员会计划生育办公室。1980年12月，改设蓬莱县人民政
府计划生育办公室。1981年8月，改设蓬莱县计划生育局。1984年3月，
改设蓬莱县计划生育委员会。1991年，县计划生育委员会设办公室，
辖计划生育技术服务站、计划生育宣传站、计划生育药具站，共有工
作人员23人。
