　　1929年，国府颁行《修正县政府组织法》，黄县设四科，第一科掌管宗教。
　　新中国建立后，黄县人民政府办公室设专人管理宗教工作。“文化大革命”期间
，宗教工作中断。中共十一届三中全会以后，恢复宗教工作。1989年，宗教工作分别
由市政府办公室设专人负责、市委统战部兼管。
