    龙口市屺岛西端海域以风浪为主，频率为97～99％，涌浪频率一般为40％。最多风浪向为北北东，频率20％左右，最多涌浪向亦为北北东,频率为15％左右,年均波高为0.7米,平均周期为3.3秒。最大波高为7.2米。波向北东。最大周期13.1秒。龙口港湾主要受西南方向(包括南南西和西南西向)的风波影响,频率为35％，涌浪也主要是西南方向，平均波高在0.4米左右，最大波高2.9米，平均周期为1.7秒，最大周期4.6秒。0～2级波高占82％，3级波高占14％，4级波高占4％。
