    全县近岛海域皆有刺参资源。1953年以前，一年四季均进捡捕。1953年起，为保护刺参资源，县规定：钦岛、隍城岛禁捕期为5月15日到7月5日；其它岛禁捕期为5月10日到6月30日。1964年，规定各岛禁捕期统一为5月25日到7月15日。1973年，实行分岛间年轮捕制。
