    1955年，根据《兵役法》规定实行预备役。1984年，修订后的《兵役法》规定，凡符合服各类预备役条件的公民，都应参加民兵组织或通过登记服军官预备役和士兵预备役。预备役军官和士兵，均按规定参加军事训练。服预备役人员，根据国家需要随时准备应征入伍。
