      1976年，全县有651个大队办起合作医疗，设卫生所（室）660个。1985年，全县农村有卫生所（室）708个，其中个体办64个，厂企卫生室38个。全县16处中学、农业学校、师范学校、聋哑学校设有卫生室。2000年，全区有村卫生室575个，个体诊所119个，企事业单位卫生室56个，学校卫生所5个。
