      1999年前，收养登记由烟台市民政局办理。1999年7月始，本地收养登记由区婚姻登记管理处负责。至2000年，共办理收养登记54名，其中弃婴45名，弃儿8名，三代以内旁系血亲1名。登记合格率为100%。
