    1993年10月，牟平法院设涉外（含港澳台）审判庭，审理涉外民事、经济纠纷案件。1997年12月，涉外审判庭撤销，涉外业务由经济审判二庭负责。至2000年底，共审结涉外民事案51件，其中涉港、涉台民事案各4件，外籍民事案43件；涉外经济案8件，其中涉港1件，外籍7件。诉讼标的总额886余万元。
