      牟平的塑料包装工业始于70年代。产品主要是食品包装袋。至1985年，全县有全民和县集体办各1家。
        烟台市昆嵛山林场塑料厂，1978年建成投产。生产食品包装袋。1985年，年产600万个。产品销往县内和烟台、威海、文登等地。
