1957年，国务院提出计划生育的国策以后，本县人口的出生、死亡、增长分两个阶段：1958－1974年，
仍为高出生、低死亡、高增长阶段，其间曾呈起伏状态。出生率最高年份是1963年，为44.7‰；出生
率最低年份是1959年， 为30.2‰。死亡率最高年份是1961年，为19.8‰；死亡率最低年份是1963年，为
13.8‰。1975－1985年，为低出生、低死亡、低增长阶段，出生率由19.4‰降至10.7‰，死亡率自7.0‰
降至6.1‰，自然增长率从12.4‰降至4.2‰。
