    1976年，县良种场成立科研队，进行农作物品种栽培及管理的研究。1983年，正式成立福山县农业科学研究所，列事业编制，工作人员10名，地址在胜利东村，占地45亩。1985年，迁至芝阳村南，隶属农业畜牧局。
    1979年成立地震办公室，地址在政府办公大楼后平房，后迁至积金山东坡，隶属科委。1983年11月机构改革时撤销。
