【人口】   2009年底，全县总人口219523人。其中，非农业人口36173人。
人口出生率7.63‰，人口死亡率5.58‰，人口自然增长率2.05‰。

【民族】   2009年，全县常住人口共有民族15个，其中绝大多数为汉族人，
占总人口的99.93%。少数民族14个，共149人，其人口分布为布依族3人、藏
族2人、朝鲜族10人、达翰尔族2人、侗族3人、回族23人、黎族11人、满族33
人、蒙古族20人、苗族2人、土家族2人、幺佬族1人、彝族12人、壮族25人。
