    解放以后及建国初期，全县家庭规模多属传统的多代同堂家庭，以三代户居多。
1949年，全县102012人，16142户，户均6.32人。1953年，全县户均6.57人
。60年代，家庭规模逐步变小，1964年全县户均4.71人。进入70年代，随着计划
生育工作的开展及传统家庭观念淡薄，家庭规模日趋小型化，二代户日渐增多，三代
户锐减，1973年，全县户均4.29人。1982年，全县户均4.15人。1985年，全
县户均4.25人。
