    1986年，经国务院批准，全国邮电系统恢复邮政储蓄业务。1987年5月12
日，垦利邮政正式开办储蓄业务。当年，邮政储蓄余额136.5万元。
    垦利县邮政储蓄网点7处：中兴路支局邮政储蓄所、开发区支局邮政储
蓄所、永安镇支局邮政储蓄所、黄河口镇支局邮政储蓄所、东安镇支局邮政
储蓄所、胜坨镇支局邮政储蓄所、郝家镇支局邮政储蓄所。1994、1995年，
实现微机化管理。1999年2月，全东营市邮政储蓄网点联网，2001年1月，全
国邮政储蓄网点联网，同时开办绿卡业务，实现邮政储蓄在全国范围内的统
存统兑。至2000年，垦利邮政储蓄期末余额2.17亿元。
