【人口民族】 2011年末， 全区户籍人口215640人，其中地方人口103738人，油田人口111902人。全区人口出生率7.09‰，死亡率3.15‰。人口自然增长率为3.94‰，出生人口男女性别比为114.9：100。城镇人口比重达到79.02%，暂住人口3418 5人。境内人口以汉族居多，少数民族人口较少。境内少数民族主要来自胜利油田的干部、职工及家属。
