    河口区人民政府督查局前身为区政府办公室内部科室。1999年3月25日，成立河
口区人民政府督查局，为正科级事业单位，编制5人，隶属区政府。2000年有人员6名
。
    督查局成立后，围绕区委、区政府年度重点工作开展督查，按照实事求是、注重
实效、分级负责、层层落实的原则，开展督查考核，做到件件有回音，事事有着落，
促进了政府决策的落实。
