    建区前，境内涉外贸易形式主要靠供销社、粮食部门设在基层的门市部、采购站
代购和销售，实行利润分成。出口物资主要有大豆、红小豆、蓖麻籽、苜蓿等。
    河口区外贸公司成立后，无进出口计划指标，不能直营外贸业务。代购出口物资
主要有苇帘子、对虾、文蛤等，但获利甚微。大部分业务属内贸，企业一直负债经营
。1992年底购销业务基本终止。1993年10月负债226万元。因企业资不抵债，无力进
行正常的业务运营，于1994年4月破产。
