    建区初期，河口区没有医药专营企业，境内各医疗单位用药和购置医疗器械要到
济南、滨州等地医药公司采购。
    1989年成立东营市医药公司河口分公司，隶属东营市医药公司，为正科级国有企
业单位。公司内设批发部、调拨室、仓储部、办公室，下设9个零售点。2000年，河
口医药分公司内设人秘科、财务科、业务科、企管质检科4个科室，下设批发部及义
和镇、仙河镇、油田六小区、河口市场4个零售网点，有干部职工30人。
