    辖区内人口性别通常是男性多于女性。抗日战争、解放战争时期，男子参军、参
战、支前者居多，女性比例高于男性。1959～1961年三年困难时期，男性死亡多于女
性，亦造成女性比例增大，其它时期男性均多于女性。建区时，男性为193131人，女
性为183954人，性别比为104.99(女性为100，下同)。以后除1985、1987、1989年性
别比稍高外，其它年度男女性别比例基本稳定在104～106之间。性别比重，建区初男
性为51.22％，女性为48.78％；1997年男性为51.06％，女性为48.94％。新生儿性别
比相对波动较大，1985年最高，男为125.08；1986年最低，男为64.56。女性平均寿
命高于男性，老年人口中女性人数大大超出男性。
