    境内建材业一直比较落后。建区后，部分乡镇建设砖瓦窑厂。1996年，东营区开
始筹建玻璃生产企业--东营胜他玻璃有限责任公司。公司位于淮河路西首，是东营区
与印度尼西亚合资兴建。占地面积20亩，职工37人，主要设备是从德国引进的夹层玻
璃生产线，夹层材料(DVB膜)从美国进口。主要产品是建筑用幕墙夹层玻璃、防弹玻
璃和其他工艺玻璃。至1997年，该项目投资600万元，厂房已建成，待引进设备后投
产。
