    1961年，滕县人民银行开始办理外汇业务，当年办理25笔，3012元。1966年降为21笔，925元。“文化大革命”期间，外汇业务基本停止。中共十一届三中全会以后，外汇业务逐年增加。1982年，外汇业务增至371笔，133604元。1987年206330元，为1978年前外汇总额的23.7倍。
