    山亭区侨务工作是从1981年开始的。是年，原齐村区设侨务股，隶属区政府办公室领导，由宋敬贞负责该项工作。
    1983年区划调整以后，先后成立了山亭区侨务办公室，山亭区侨联小组，侨联中心组。共配备专、兼职侨务干部15人。
