    山亭区因为是新划区，1984年前，没有开展审计工作。建区后，根据上级的指示精神，于1984年5月，山亭区审计局成立。
    1987年，山亭区审计局局内设办公室、财金审计股、行政事业审计股、工业交通审计股、商贸审计股等5个股室，机关工作人员16人。
