    自1978年至1987年底共受理经济案件61件75人，立案侦查53件69人，其中起诉37件47人，免于起诉11件17人。通过办理经济案件，共为国家集体追回赃款88万余元，有力地打击了经济领域严重犯罪活动。1987年，区检察院被山东省人民检察院授予全院集体二等功。
